My Senatorial Line-up for 2007 Elections

My choices:

1. Joker Arroyo. This man never fails to amaze me. He has the integrity of a noble man, the sagacity brilliantly displayed during the impeachment of an ex-president, and credence of a responsible lawmaker. For me, he personifies the true warrior of independence and democracy.

2. Manny Villar. Astute and wise politician. He accumulated wealth not from joining politics but from an empire of real estate businesses. I will be comfortable that cashing in from legislative work is the least of his concern.

3. Francis Escudero. Young, energetic, and idealistic lawmaker. He speaks from the heart without any hint of unspoken motives. The way he decribed the horrors of Bicolanos after the storm wrath truly depicted the picture that was Bicol. I saw it for myself.

4. Allan Peter Cayetano. Nevermind that he is just making the issue against the First Gentlemen. Nevermind that he lacked proof to prove his allegation. As a matter of fact, most Filipinos believe him when he exposed the Arroyo's US$ deposits offshore. It takes balls of a man to oppose the powerful. Talks about David and Goliath.

I have second thoughts of voting for the following candidates. I will not have any description of them for the lack of appropriate association I can think which could identify them.

5. Loren Legarda
6. Panfilo Lacson
7. Francis Pangilinan.

But the following persons, I could have voted for them assuming they would run.

9. Randy David
10.Liwayway Vinzons Chato
11.Hilario Davide
12.Conrado Abuel
